When laying out a form design, I need to set the displayed length of longer and shorter fields so that the page looks well formatted.

For example, the field length for STREET ADDRESS should be displayed as much longer that the 2 Characters required for the STATE field.   I know I can set validation on the length of the data entry, but can't figure out how to shorten the displayed data entry box.  How is this done?

The controls sample form included with the module provides most examples of what you would need.  Below is an example of how to set the width of a control, this is from the controls sample.

[TEXTBOX-NAMEMULTI::TextMode=MultiLine::Width=255px]

Basically just use "Width=xxxpx" where XXX is your size.

Thanks for the reply Chris.   I saw the example for multiline input, but did not realize that the parameters were valid for other types of text boxes as well.   That would be a good enhancement for the help documents if you could show the required and optional parameters for all field types.

On the same note, is there a way to define the tab order of fields on the screen?

Try TabIndex="x"

Most standard control properties can be used.  If you have any problems with a propertly, just submti a support ticket for details and if it's not supported then support will be added.
