Hi Chris,

I'm still on Axon 7.0.8 but this issue probably still exists on the latest unless you've specifically done something about it.

The option to add new campaign to the opt-in module doesn't work. The campaigns are always on the inactive side of the module.

Regards
Rob

You just need to drag and drop them over to the right side to make them active.  Or select them and click "Add Selected".  This should work in all versions of Axon.

Hi Chris,

The point of the "Add New Campaigns to Opt-In lists" feature (which is one that I originally requested a long time back) was so that authors did not have to find and edit the opt-in module every time they made a new newsletter in order to make it active, and thus allow the subscribe and unsubscribe features to work. The idea was that it should be seamless upon creating any new newsletter.

The help tip also makes the same point "Check this option to have new Campaigns automatically added to the Opt-In modules so that users can subscribe right away."

If enabling that setting doesn't make them active automatically, then it isn't doing anything at all, because new campaigns were and are always added to the left side regardless.

This did work initially but hasn't for quite some time now.

Regards
Rob

Rob I have tested this and it's working on the DEV servers.  So what version of Axon are you using now?  Also what version of DNN are you using?

Hi Chris,

I had tested all the way up to Axon 7.1.4 and it did not work, so then I set up a fresh test portal to video the problem.

It still failed on 7.1.4 and so then I upgraded it straight to the latest 7.5.5 and now it works.

So that's now all sorted and I'll go ahead and get my live system upgraded.

Regards
Rob
