New Features in SigmaPro 6.0:

Quick Start Screen: When you first add SigmaPro to a page, the Quick Start screen appears providing information on quickly setting up SigmaPro. It also contains several links to install sample projects and configurations for you automatically.

Timer: Start and stop a timer on tasks to automatically track hours for you.

Email Monitor: Monitors a POP3 account for new emails and generates tickets based on the information. Automatically detects replies from existing tickets and updates the appropriate ticket.

SigmaView: A new module that displays the items in a specific project. Perfect for information sharing without having to configure security. Includes the ability to download data to Excel.

Updated Help Desk module add-on

Security: Improved security in the Web Service and in SigmaPro Draconis to prevent unauthorized access to data.

Project Restrictions: Completely secure an instance of SigmaPro Draconis to all projects, authorized only or to single project.

New and More Images: More images are available for you custom Priority and Status codes. Over 100 High Quality Images to choose from.

Improved Configuration Files: With more options, the configuration files for SigmaPro have been updated.

Improved Email Settings: You have complete control over the email notifications SigmaPro sends out for you. Enable/Disable 12 different emails types or disable them all.

Plug-In Support: Install or build your own SigmaPro Plug-Ins.

Easier to use: A lot of new features have been added to make it really easy to use SigmaPro. Some of these include new links to quickly save and exit items, save and close, etc.

Text Editor Options: New options to control the text editor.

Help Desk Add-On: A module that simplifies the Help Desk configurations and setup for SigmaPro. This module is very simple and easy to use. Use the core SigmaPro module for administration while using this add-on module for your end-users to interact with.

Email Monitor: Monitors a POP3 Server for new emails. Parses all new emails and create new tickets. Also detects responses and updates the related ticket. This is a Windows application that runs in the background and is accessible from the Windows Tray. Includes a SPAM Filter.

Plug-In Manager: A module for managing your SigmaPro Plug-Ins.

SigmaView: A module that displays the current items in a project you specify. Perfect for sharing project information without the ability to edit the data. Also contains a link to download the data to Microsoft Excel.

SigmaPro VSIP: A Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Add-IN that connects to your DotNetNuke portal for current tasks in a SigmaPro Project.

SigmaPro Web Service: Used by SigmaEx and SigmaPro VSIP. Also a great tool for extending SigmaPro. Easily build new applications or modify existing applications to interact with SigmaPro on your DotNetNuke web site.
